No Political Solution!
Enough With Web-mastering...Back To Work!
The economy is in shambles and our political state is in disarray; and yet the people still look to Capital Hill and their state legislatures for answers to problems in which they hold in their own hands the complete solutions.
The "I need to look out for "self" in order to survive" mentality must GO!
The "This administration is screwing up our economy" mentality must GO!
The "It will eventually work itself out; its just a "phase" or cycle" mentality must GO!
The "I just need more business and more market share from the guy next door" mentality must GO!
In fact, the old mindsets of "vote and compete" to get ahead are exactly what has got us into this mess, and they will only make matters worse if we don't wake up and realize that we ARE the economy. We control it in every aspect of its existence and our failure to recognize this fact has set the stage for our own demise.
In this post I invite you all to watch today's episode of GritTV (embedded below). When you are done viewing it, I ask you this one simple question. "Who has the solutions to these issues?" (...or perhaps, "Who ARE the solutions to these issues?")
The key to doing what I do as an economic development strategist is observing what is NOT present when confronted with an issue. There is a key element of our economy that is missing in this discussion; and that key element (in that it is consistently missing) is, in fact, the MASTER KEY!
